What’s been happening:

I graduated with my BS in Animal Bioscience in 2000 after 5 years of schooling. I then worked for a year at the Penn State Animal Diagnostic Lab as the Salmonella Lab Supervisor. I accepted a job at the University of Illinois' Veterinary Diagnostic Lab in Urbana/Champaign in March 2001. I work in the Microbiology section for the same woman I worked for as an undergraduate at Penn State. I have been here ever since, and will be here till I retire. During that time, I met my husband and got married in May 2008. We built a house in Mansfield in December 2007 just down the street from his family. We have two dogs, Charlie and Frankie, and two cats, Tigger and Sally. We are planning to start a family next month. My favorite memories of Penn State are the friends, the places and the crazy nights. I had a favorite tree that I would sit in just down from Old Main near College Ave. I danced in the International Dance Ensemble for several years. I also tried my hand at acting in the No Refund Theater group. I loved going to the football games. One year, we had a stadium-wide snowball fight. I loved walking campus in the Fall. Dorm living wasn't all that bad, but then again, I lived in Leete Hall in the North. I will forever and always be a Nittany Lion! Kristin Lynn (Englehart) Ellis '00 BS in Animal Bioscience
